The fact that the Bonn-based IT service provider has something to offer is demonstrated by several things. On the one hand, it was nominated for the regional medium-sized business award “Ludwig” for its innovative company succession concept. On the other hand, the recently developed tool “BlueBoxAir” optimizes air freight logistics chains worldwide. And now the dynamic team is looking for additional employees who can be trained during the ongoing pandemic. Also a special recruiting feature: “Hybrid Working Made by BusinessCode”.
Bonn, May 18, 2021 “We anticipate a need for new employees of more than 25% for this year alone,” Martin Schulze, CEO at BusinessCode, sums it up. And so the IT service provider is actively seeking additional IT experts to strengthen its competent team. In addition to Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates, students are sought as software developers, as working students (m/f/d) as well as IT’ers with initial professional experience. All expect tasks in the field of software development to support the work for the globally active customer base as well as the further development of own products.
Since this is not an easy undertaking in Bonn, BusinessCode is launching a recruiting campaign to become more visible and to be requested alongside the top dogs. “Among other things, a video campaign is planned in the social networks to increase visibility in the environment of the regional universities,” Schulze explains the planned measures.
Competition is the mother of invention. And so BusinessCode already developed and successfully implemented the New Work concept “Hybrid Work Made by BusinessCode” last year. This innovative concept for a medium-sized company not only fully maps all development and communication processes with customers and partners, but also includes the entire recruiting process. New employees were digitally recruited, selected, hired and trained. “For us as an IT company, digital working is nothing new. Many of our customers are based around the world, and we have been working with them online for years. What is new for us is comprehensive digital recruiting,” Schulze emphasizes. And that’s exactly what went down very well with many students. Some of them had pulled up stakes in Bonn because of the purely digital teaching and would otherwise not have been able to take up the job.
From the CEO’s point of view, the special features of the medium-sized company include, in addition to bilingual company communication, the offer of future-proof jobs with good opportunities for further development, involvement in technically and substantively challenging projects, and mentoring by experienced colleagues. And as befits the company, BusinessCode offers not only a central location but also comprehensive mobility support in the form of company bicycles or tickets for public transport.
On this basis, BusinessCode is now looking for additional team members to support the development of enterprise software for internationally operating customers. In addition to an open working atmosphere, the IT company offers varied activities. “BusinessCode’s prevailing credo of providing on-the-job training in ongoing projects can also be easily implemented with the hybrid working model,” concludes co-CEO Martin Bernemann. “We firmly integrate our new colleagues into individual project teams right from the start, encouraging them to work independently and on their own responsibility,” Bernemann concludes.
