Hello My name is Johanna S. Wüst, I am 15 years old and have completed a two-week internship at BusinessCode. In this blog post, I would like to give you a brief insight into my experiences and daily work routine at BusinessCode.

How Did I Get an Internship at BusinessCode?

All students at my school (Liebfrauenschule) can complete a vocational internship in the ninth grade, which is why I started looking for an internship in Bonn. I eventually found an internship at BusinessCode through personal contacts with employees. Additionally, the activities and information on their website sparked my interest.

My Daily Work Routine at BusinessCode

When I started my internship at BusinessCode, I had no prior knowledge or experience in the IT field. However, my supervisor Anna Rasgauski, who accompanied me throughout my internship, explained the application of SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to me during that time and provided a good overview. Through various tasks, I was able to internalize and further develop my newly acquired knowledge. I was also shown projects from BusinessCode and allowed to listen in on calls, giving me insight into the collaboration.

What I Will Take Away for the Future

BusinessCode has given me a lot of knowledge about the IT world and exceeded my expectations The internship at BusinessCode has provided me with an insight into a somewhat different professional world/direction It has shown me that I enjoy this profession and that there is always something new to learn.
