Mein Schülerpraktikum bei BusinessCode

Hello My name is Ignacio Martin Penate, I am 17 years old, and I completed my internship at BusinessCode. I would like to explain how I managed to secure an internship at BusinessCode and what a typical day looks like for me.
How Did I Manage to Find an Internship at BusinessCode?
I come from the Deutsche Schule Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a German international school in Spain. My school offers students in the eleventh grade the opportunity to complete a one-week student internship in Bonn. Since I am interested in IT and software development, I decided to do my internship in an IT company. After a brief search, I came across BusinessCode. After learning about their activities and projects, I was convinced that BusinessCode was the right place for my internship.
My Typical Day
Many believe that prior knowledge and experience are necessary to complete an internship in an IT company. At BusinessCode, that’s not the case My contact person, Anna Rasgauski, taught me programming from scratch. In our short time together, she explained how to work with Java and SQL. It wasn’t just about theoretical basics, but also practical tasks she assigned to me. The only skills you really need are motivation, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to try and learn new things.
What Will I Take Away for the Future?
BusinessCode has opened the door to the IT world for me Through my internship, I not only gained insight into how the IT world functions and what it’s like to work in such a company, but I also gained practical experience. These experiences have shown me that I enjoy my future profession and have fun doing it.
