Bonn, 23 January 2025 – BusinessCode is proud to announce its participation in the prestigious TradeTech Accelerator Program through its subsidiary, BlueBox Systems, founded in 2020. The program is conducted in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, the World Economic Forum, and the Plug and Play Tech Center. The Plug and Play Tech Center is an open innovation platform supporting partners in the finance, healthcare, and Industry 4.0 sectors in the region, and now includes BlueBox Systems.
Despite a highly competitive field of applicants with exceptional quality, BusinessCode was selected for its development of BlueBox and its commitment to advancing innovations in the TradeTech sector. Through BlueBox Systems, BusinessCode is taking a significant step towards establishing its presence in the United Arab Emirates market.
“We are incredibly excited to be part of this forward-looking program,” said Martin Schulze, Managing Director of BusinessCode and BlueBox Systems. “Collaborating with leading institutions and experts provides us with the opportunity to further develop our innovative solutions in a global context while simultaneously accessing new markets.”
The TradeTech Accelerator Program offers an excellent opportunity to engage with key stakeholders in the trade and logistics sectors, benefit from high-level mentoring, and gain insights from leading industry experts. The aim is to accelerate innovation and provide targeted support to companies like BusinessCode to achieve sustainable growth in the UAE market.
Through BlueBox Systems’ participation, BusinessCode plans to expand its partnerships significantly in the Middle East. A key objective is to strengthen collaboration with public and private institutions in the region. “Together, we aim to develop innovative solutions for the logistics industry,” explained CEO Martin Schulze.
Additionally, by participating in the virtual program and the final Demo Day event in Abu Dhabi on 8 April 2025, BusinessCode will enhance its regional presence. “The Middle East is rapidly becoming a key driver and central hub for the logistics industry. It’s where all major players converge,” Schulze emphasized.
For over 25 years, BusinessCode has been creating innovative solutions in the logistics sector. With its proprietary technologies, the company aims to drive digitalization and improve efficiency in the industry. Participation in the TradeTech Accelerator Program provides an excellent platform to further these goals.
The TradeTech Accelerator Program officially begins on 6 January 2025 and runs until 28 March 2025. The program is held virtually, culminating in an in-person Demo Day in Abu Dhabi.
BlueBox’s Middle Eastern journey, however, kicks off earlier. BusinessCode has been invited to present at the Web Summit in Qatar from 23 to 26 February 2025, as part of the first-ever German Start-up Pavilion. The event is expected to attract up to 20,000 attendees, including global investors, media, and industry leaders. “It’s an outstanding platform to showcase ourselves to an international audience,” said Schulze, expressing his excitement about the opportunity.
