BusinessCode Flies in International Team for Bonn Corporate Run

For years, the team at the Bonn-based IT service provider has been growing continuously, even during strict home office requirements. The company is using the Bonn Corporate Run as an opportunity to celebrate with its globally distributed team.

Bonn, August 11, 2022 - “In the last 12 months alone, 10 colleagues have joined the team,” begins CEO Martin Schulze. Since many BusinessCode employees are traditionally based internationally, it’s not always easy to get to know all colleagues and maintain contact during this growth. That’s why the IT service provider’s headquarters, located within sight of the University of Bonn, decided to invite and register all employees for the Bonn Corporate Run. After successfully crossing the finish line, the team celebrated together in a specially rented tent directly in the Rheinaue park.

“We have 38 colleagues from more than 8 nations registered,” says Schulze. “It’s important to us that colleagues stay in touch with each other.” Some live in Crete, others in Finland, and not all team members in Germany live and work in Bonn.

“Hybrid working is second nature to all of us, especially since our customers are located worldwide. However, we’ve noticed in the past two years how important social connections are. The Bonn Corporate Run provides a great framework to meet and hold the BusinessCode flag high together during the run,” explains Schulze.

From the CEO’s perspective, the medium-sized company’s special features include bilingual corporate communication, future-proof jobs with good development opportunities, work on technically and content-wise challenging projects, and mentoring by experienced colleagues. As expected, BusinessCode also offers comprehensive mobility support in the form of company bicycles or public transport tickets in addition to its central location. On this basis, BusinessCode is looking for additional team members to support the development of enterprise software for international customers and the further development of its own products. In addition to an open working atmosphere, the IT company offers varied activities. “The credo at BusinessCode of conducting training in ongoing projects can easily be implemented with the hybrid working model,” adds Co-CEO Martin Bernemann in conclusion. “We integrate our new colleagues firmly into individual project teams from the beginning, encouraging them to work independently and take responsibility,” Bernemann concludes.
