Bonn, 14 October 2026 – How can companies use artificial intelligence to evaluate tenders and customer enquiries more quickly? Bonn-based IT company BusinessCode will provide an answer to this question on 10 November 2026 at “Industrie meets IT – Connected for the Future” at the Stadtmuseum Siegburg. The company will present an AI application that is already being used in its own tender management processes and is now being further developed for additional use cases.

The tool was originally developed to support the processing of complex tenders. It helps identify relevant requirements in extensive documentation, structure information and prepare it for further processing. BusinessCode uses the application internally and continuously refines it based on practical experience.

AI Also Supports the Qualification of Customer Enquiries

At “Industrie meets IT”, BusinessCode will demonstrate how this approach can also be applied to processing incoming customer enquiries. AI can be used to capture and analyse content, classify enquiries according to predefined criteria and prioritise relevant requests for further processing. This enables companies to identify at an early stage which enquiries match their range of products and services and which warrant a more detailed assessment.

“Not every tender or customer enquiry is relevant to a company’s business. The challenge therefore begins with the selection process,” explains Bernd Daamen of BusinessCode. “AI can help capture and structure large volumes of information more quickly. The final decision remains with people, but it can be made on the basis of better information.”

This approach can be particularly valuable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that regularly handle large numbers of tenders or customer enquiries. Assessing incoming information at an early stage makes it easier to allocate personnel resources more effectively and relieve employees of time-consuming analytical and routine tasks. BusinessCode thus demonstrates how AI can be integrated into existing business processes.

The networking event “Industrie meets IT – Connected for the Future” will take place on 10 November 2026, starting at 4 p.m., at the Stadtmuseum Siegburg. Organised by the Initiative Industrie Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, the event brings together industrial companies, IT service providers and digital technology specialists from the region. Alongside BusinessCode, other companies will present practical digital applications.
