OPMS – central management tool for IT4Business performance monitoring
Our customer has been undergoing comprehensive reorganization and repositioning for several years.
In this context, the internal IT organization is being repositioned with the IT4Business program.
Alongside a redesign of the IT landscape, the systematic outsourcing of services is a key focus. The internal organization concentrates on the future architecture, partner management, and communication with internal customers, i.e., the customer departments of the various divisions. As a central control instrument, OPMS consolidates all relevant IT operations indicators and divides them into different categories.

This information is used to monitor SLAs with internal customers, review partner companies, and steer Six Sigma projects and initiatives. Information is made available to hundreds of users in various views and analysis tools. In addition to scorecard, dashboard, and analytical tools, data can also be visualized on maps, for example to present information about global operations in an intuitive way.
In 2012, our customer selected BusinessCode as the partner for implementing and operating the application, which has since been provided in an ASP model (Application Service Provider). The system accompanies and supports the reorganization and the Six Sigma process within the IT organization. The reporting system was consolidated and reinstalled using the application. The savings achieved through the system are estimated at several million euros.
